Where did last month go?
It was certainly full of energy, with football & festivals galore, and we even managed a short break to Berlin, where of course we hunted out some great independent businesses!
June is the sixth month of the year and is believed to be derived from Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage and the wife of Jupiter. June is a vibrant month filled with significant historical events, cultural celebrations, and the natural beauty of changing seasons associated with the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere and the start of winter in the Southern Hemisphere.
June is celebrated as Pride Month in many parts of the world, with various events and parades to honour the LGBTQ+ community and we spent Saturday at Pride to watch the parade and got to hang out with Jack , Ashleigh and the community from The Original Pearlies, whose history and stories are so part of the day and traditions that need to carry on and we all need to be seen.
Pop Up Sustainability Market
This was another new event that was themed and took place at Denbies Wine Estate on Sunday 2nd June - the sun shone again and lots of shoppers attended which was a great success and once again the sun was shining with a varied selection of 38 small business who prioritize sustainability as an integral part of their brand identity. There were lots of positive comments from those visiting and the traders that took part.
Thanks to the meet and greet staff Diego and Gary who welcomed the customers.

Supporting Charity
We were invited last week as guests to be part of the Look Good , Feel Better 30th anniversary to mark the charity’s history and to acknowledge and thank the beauty industry in supporting over 200,000 people living with cancer.
It was great to be able to know more about this amazing charity and what they do for those dealing with cancer and to meet the supporters and those affected in so many ways.

Behind The Scenes
It seems crazy but we brought together the businesses that are involved in our Festive Market in The Conservatory , Syon House earlier this week.
This was a chance for those to see the amazing venue and to get videos and images to promote the event much later in the year.
Watch this space for later in the year, when more will be revealed.
Thanks for reading!
