Good morning from D&S!
After a well earned weekend break in the sunshine last week, we feel inspired to get the latest blog on paper as the heavens prepare to open again.
Since our last blog in April where we talked about some of the publications we've been lucky enough to be featured in, we've been hard at work with some new and exciting collaborations.
It all started with a gold bowtie....
Remember this shot from last summer? Well it caught the eye of the lovely Sally at Events By Design and we're proud to say we've now worked with her and some other amazing creatives to produce 2 photo shoots!
A Wild Heart Tamed Me....
With such a great inspiration name like this why wouldn't you want to get involved?
Our couple Jaz and Jack were great to work with as well as the other creatives:
Photography @waynekahn; Florals @thistlebynature; Hair and MUA @totally.flawless; Signage @allfrillsstudio; Models @jasmine_moores @cassie.crook; Ring @adamfosterjewellery; Dress supplier @rockthefrocksussex; Mens attire @greshamblake; Mens accessories @dappersuave; Hairpiece and veils @ashleywildbridal; Cake @cakedawaykelly; Doughnuts and macarons @thegardenchef; Leather jackets @birdandbonedesigns; Skirt @prettyeccentic; @pelirocco @tattooworkshopbrighton@meatliquorrbtn
Into The Woods...
Did you know that we can also provide styling advice as well? Well this next shoot was a perfect opportunity to bring together our love of vintage / high street fashion styling and to create some accessories just for the shoot.
Our friend and model Alex often jokes about doing a bit of "peacocking" when he does shoots with us (more on him later). This shoot was all about that, and trying to #changetheweddingindustry - by showing the grooms can have just as much pampering and do what they want on the big day as the brides.
It felt oddly satisfying to have Steven and Arron as the centre of attention, and the team were passionate to deliver what we wanted to achieve together. Seeing them both wearing all of our products and clothing was very exciting, and we got to stretch our creativity with velvet, moss and flower bowties; a shirt front filled with our lapel flowers, and an ostrich feather shirt front.
We're excited to say that @equallywed are planning to feature us - more photos to follow!

A big thank you to Sally and all of the models and team she pulled together.
We're very excited to see what happens next!
We'll finish here but we'll be back shortly with another blog to tell you all about the new branding that we showcased in the last 24 hours.
