Behind the Scenes: Dapper & Suave's Latest Collaborations and Developments

Updated: Dec 2, 2023

A warm welcome to our March update - especially for anyone who has recently signed up to our mailing list!

We have lots to update you on, including our continued collaboration with a local menswear business, our recent events as Dapper & Suave and some exciting developments for Curated by Dapper & Suave.

Dapper - Dorking

We've had a relationship with Ian, Natasha and the team at Dapper since we launched our product range back in 2017. We connected over the coincidental similarities in our name, and found some great synergies between the customised elements of our accessories range and the width of products they offer in their store on Dorking High Street for more than 20 years.

Jason and Natasha recently caught up at the Wotton House Wedding Fair, and at the end of February we refreshed the full range of designs we offer in a dedicated space including our cravats, pocket squares, bow ties and lapels.

Gate Street Barn

The link with Dapper continues as we returned to Gate Street Barn for their Annual Open Day early in March. We took promotional brochures and also borrowed suits for our mannequin Dave and Jason to wear to cross promote our businesses.

When planning a wedding, we are proud to offer a customised and friendly service to add the final details to the big day. Once the date and venue are confirmed, we can help you with bringing a customised idea to life or helping you to complete outfits with products from our main range.

Gate Street Barn is a wonderful venue located in Bramley, near Guildford Surrey, with a unique feel that sets it apart from other venues. We loved being in the Old Dairy for the Open Day which is often used by one of the couple to get ready in their own space. We heard lots of couples having very healthy discussion about who that would be!

We returned to Gate Street again last week as guests for their Corporate Launch showcasing the other ways the venue can be used. With the location so close to Guildford, the options are endless from parties to team building events and much more. The onsite accommodation in a variety of locations from Farmhouse to Hayloft to Shepherds Huts give some great options - find out more on their website.

Curated by Dapper & Suave

We also some great news to share - a new venue - Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking one of England’s largest single estate vineyards of 265 acres..

We met with the venue back in September last year about becoming preferred suppliers as Dapper & Suave along with Dapper to make sure that the couples getting married were aware of local businesses who were local to the area which we are now.

This year on Jason's birthday an email came through to say that Denbies would like to discuss having markets at their venue and having lived in Dorking for 10 years and having the Vineyard 5 minutes walk away and having fond memories of this venue in a beautiful setting - of course we said yes!

Our markets will take place on :-
