Back in December last year, we were stood in our gazebo in Ewhurst village at their Christmas Market, having a conversation with fellow creative Flossie about an idea.
Flossie is an independent artist, and good friend, who creates stylish, colourful watercolour artwork with her business Flossie Hunt Illustration.
In January this year we started the conversation, using all the digital help we could, to explain the vision and for Flossie to work her magic to draw three characters for us to use on blank greetings cards and prints.
We have to say a massive shout out to Flossie's partner Tom for putting up with the long FaceTime and Zoom chats - we owe you a beer!
Meet our style squad
Together we came up with three animals that would have their own personalities, and be dressed in Dapper & Suave accessories, including an inspirational quote.
We then had the challenge to name each animal, and in classic Dapper & Suave style this involved getting away from the sewing machine and taking a walk in our beautiful local countryside to inspire us.
Jasper is our Zebra - wearing waistcoat and jacket, cravat and pocket square.

He needed a cheeky name for his open neck shirt look and is proud to remind us

Reuben is our Lion - wearing braces and stylish bow tie.
He needed a strong name, and we found this one in the family tree.
Reuben has a cheeky grin on his face because
