Almost a year to the day from when we originally launched our Style Squad, we are very proud to share the release of our first illustrated book!
Alex our Peacock is naturally at the front of the queue, and we are thrilled to share our original story behind this beautiful animal.
As Flossie is currently working on a new "project" (a.k.a. her new daughter!) we approached Chris Millard to work on the internal illustrations with us, as we have always liked his style (something anyone who visits our home will spot!)
Rob wrote the original story based on ideas of how we feel "being a peacock" when we are smartly dressed, and research about the real life animal. Alex is a little shy of the limelight to begin with but learns to use his colour feathers to build his confidence.
The 24 page book is 15cm square, inspired by the Mr Men and Little Miss sized books and features 5 full page illustrations and other small illustrations by Chris throughout.
Each book is just £6 (plus P&P) and suitable for age 3+.
The rest of the Style Squad will follow during the year.
